What is binge eating disorder (B.E.D.)?
Binge eating is compulsive overeating and one has the lack control to stop, which results in feelings of extreme guilt and disgust. The overeating becomes a regular activity and is extremely hard to stop as excessivly eating acts as a coping mechanism for stress and negative emotions

Some behavioral symptoms
  • Feeling a lack of control while you are eating
  • Eating an abnormal large amounts of food 
  • Eating even when you are not physically hungary 
  • Hiding food to eat in secret



Some emotional symptoms

  • You feel that stress and/or tension is relieved by eating
  • Embarrassment over how much you’re eating
  • You can not feel yourself, your emotions while binging
  • Never feeling satisfied even if you eat an adequate amount 
  • You feel guilty, disgusted, shame, and/or depressed after binging
  • You want to control your weight and eating habits but the desire to binge over powers your 
            ability to do so

  • Gallbladder disease
  • High cholesterol
  • Heart disease
